4 Wheelies and Sunshine

I shoot almost every other day, but sometimes I don’t get around to combing through and posting daily—so these are just some of my favorites from the past 14 days!

Spent some time down home for a graduation and birthday party. My brother, featured on the 4-wheeler, is a gearhead and chain smoker, so I decided to snap a shot of the two combined.

Did a little boating on Memorial Day. The picture taken inside was part of an ice cream shop on the lake. Going in felt like getting hit with a wave of nostalgia from a place you’ve never actually been before.

I’m trying to steer away from explicitly shooting people on my photo walks. To me, shooting people is “easy,” and although I still do it all the time, I’m forcing myself to try and see compositions or interesting things that aren’t people. I’m sure it’s where I could use the most improvement…
