Started the walk yesterday with some architechture shooting. I really love getting clean lines with the corners of buildings and the like. Also splashes of color in more muted areas.
Moved into a little street shooting. Guy in B&W handed my a “Bridge to Christ” pamphlet featuring our great Mackinac Bridge. It was really overcast yesterday and so I was having trouble getting appropriate exposure moving from light to shaded areas.
There were some cool kids out skating and I asked if I could shoot them. They were all enthusiastic about it.
It was chilly and sad looking yesterday. But the city is still springing to life.
